The Fit Bottomed Girls, or the FBGs, may be called many things, but haters is not one of them. Our general philosophy is that any exercise is good exercise. However, that doesn’t mean that all exercise devices, products, DVDs, fads and fitness philosophies are created equal. In fact, some of them really rock, and others severely disappoint. The FBGs, two regular girls who like to work out but don’t have freak-of-nature bodies and enjoy the occasional brownie or three glasses of good wine (even quite mediocre wine, come to think of it), have created this blog to inform you of the latest fitness news, to entertain you with our workout trials and tribulations, and to hopefully save you from wasting your time and money buying and trying lame fitness-related products.

We hope our adventures in fitness inspire and motivate you to either continue being active or get moving. Workouts—from hard-core sweat sessions to strolls in the park—have greatly improved the quality of our lives. Beyond helping us maintain our “fit bottoms,” exercise has enriched our lives, our health, our friendship and many times given us something to laugh about (namely our lack of coordination). We hope our non-serious approach to being fit encourages you to make fitness fun.

    I’ll be checkin’ in every day, girls! ‘Cause I currently ain’t no “fit bottomed girl” but I’m tryin’ and can’t wait to have a place with real girls giving real advice. Woo hoo!
