Need some new cute and super stylish workout gear? Of course you do! And lucky for you, the FBGs have tested some new Puma duds and have a few recommendations. It’s a tough job, but someone has to do it.
The Tank
Puma’s Essential Tank Top is ultra soft and really comfortable (as is to be expected of uber-soft items). The tank also packs in an inner bra for added support and moisture management to keep you dry when you’re working up a healthy sweat. Be aware of the cling factor during “that time of the month” or the “post-holiday-binge when you’re feeling chubby in the tummy” because it is rather form fitting in the middle. A T-shirt style is also available.
The Tights
Jenn and I are both digging on the Puma running tights. In a capri length, these tights are super comfortable, while both keeping your legs warm and managing the moisture factor. The tights also have super hero features, such as a pocket in the back of the waist, and reflective criss-cross print in the back at the knee. Jenn thought these excessively accentuated the beauty of her calves, but I think those muscles definitely need attention drawn to them. She is training for a half marathon, after all, and everyone should know it! I loved how the seam on the rear cuts across the rump, which is more flattering than no butt seam, if you want my opinion. Jenn the running phenom also says that they are whisper-quiet on a run-–no crazy shooshing noises like some lycra has going on.
The Bag

Thanks for the review. A request: If you find workout clothes that is more modest (short sleeves) could you share with us? I don’t really wear tank tops and I’m reading all these great reviews of workout clothes that I wouldn’t be able to wear and it’s all kinda frustrating! Though I do appreciate your fabulous reviews on here!

Great bag! Since I currently use a Barnes and Noble tote bag for a gym bag, I think I definitely need an upgrade!
Oh my stars, I need a new gym bag. I currently schlep my stuff to the gym in a crinkled plastic grocery bag. Yes, I suppose I should be commended for recycling, but it’s kind of embarrassing. Also, grocery bags do not have zippers, which is kind of a problem when you’re using them as gym bags. So yeah, I’d really like a great new bag like that.
I would love the bag. I have to carry mine to the office – so a stylish gym bag would so come in handy!

I’m a total Puma junkie! I think they have a really good blend of functional but original workout clothes. Too bad they’re so pricey:(
I NEED THAT BAG!!!!!!! My gym bag is non existent. I swear, I carry my change of clothes in a PLASTIC grocery bag.
The tank looks very comfy, all the more reason to get out and start running again. The snow around here has got me housebound!

I love that tank and the bag. I commute on the T every morning to my office and go to the gym right afterward, so I always end up carrying 3 pairs of shoes and 2 changes of clothes with me everywhere I go. It’s painful, but I think that bag would make it less so.
The bag is beautiful! I could really use a new one, I am still using one from college.
It all looks great – my gym bag is stinky and I loathe it more and more each day, I’ve been searching for a new one!

Nice review! I’ve never owned anything Puma, I must confess– I’m digging the tank. I’ve always wanted workout capris, and only one thing held me back: I’m a bit shy about my super-muscular calves, so I loved your comment about how Jenn should show her own beauties off!
I need a cute bag to transport my spinning stuff in. I’m using this crazy old drawstring backpack that I got at a 5K a few years back. I’m a spin instructor and it would be great to sport a neat tank as well….my students wouldn’t even recognize the stylish instructor they would have! You guys rock! =)

I plead the case for the gym bag, because my last gym bag was the poor victim of Porter(schnauzer). Unfortunately, Porter ate something that didn’t agree with him and the results ended up on/in my old adidas gym bag. Lately I’ve been using a whole foods recycled grocery bag

Ooh the bag is fabulous. I had to resort to purchasing Fresh Waves to put inside my smelly gym bag (those boxing gloves can REEK) they are kind of expensive but each little packet lasts a month so it was worth it my bag smells lovely…http://www.fresh-wave.com/ but I’d sure love that bag to put my pretty duds in!

I need a gym bag, bad! I am currently using one of my kids hand me down back packs from school. I’m frugal and there is nothing wrong with it other than the child is now in middle school and could not be seen carrying a Sponge Bob back pack. Sponge Bob is cool, right?! LOL!

that bag is niiiiiiice! i got a pair of pink suede velcro pumas randomly when i was about 14, and wore them until the soles literally fell off when i was 20. i replaced them with 4 new pairs of pumas as well as a puma jacket
I think I’m testing my luck by trying to win this too, but I’m doing it anyway! I love all things puma – purses, shoes, clothes. I think it has something to do with my soccer background. I just love their style.
