White Tea Time
November 16, 2009 by Erin
I love to cozy up to a nice cup of tea when the weather starts to cool down. I usually reach for a cup of green tea or one of those fun Celestial Seasonings all-kinds-of-flavors tea combos, but new research might have me reaching for the white stuff.
A recent study found that white tea extract wiped out mature fat cells and inhibited new ones from forming, and it worked especially well on subcutaneous fat (aka the dangerous kind). Will white tea give you a 6-pack? Probably not. But mix up your tea time for the optimal antioxidant boost!

I love, love, love white tea. Really, I love all tea. But recently I’ve been craving the lightness of white tea. It really mixes well with fruity flavors like peach. Glad to hear I’m doing some good chugging a few cups a day!
I love white tea. I particularly enjoy jasmine white tea and cinnamon white tea. It’s a nice change of pace from my normal cup of green tea.
White tea, huh? I might have to try this. My staple is chamomile.
