Over the years, researchers have found that staying active before, during and after pregnancy is uber important for having a more comfortable pregnancy, improving delivery times and even making it easier to get back in shape post-baby (realistically, of course!). And while some moves are off-limits (think anything where you actually lie down on your tummy), a lot of moves aren’t—even running!
While it’s never a good idea for any soon-to-be mom to start running for the first time during pregnancy, those mamas who have been comfortably running for a few months are probably safe to lace up those sneakers and go for a jog. (Always talk to your doc first, though!)
