  25. DiscoTeaCup says:

I came across your blog when looking for a good list of some “old school” goodies (my favorites from late high school/early college – basically, the early 2000s) but was a little surprised to find something a tad different. So I thought I’d throw in my 2-cents.

I know there probably aren’t a lot of anime fans on this page but I will say that an anime music video serious known as “Animix” (there was a total of 5 of them and they overlap at the credits since they’re supposed to be played in sequence) has the BEST mix I’ve ever known of 90s and House music. Every song clip is about 1minute 30 seconds at most so it flips constantly and stays upbeat. There’s even some funny sounding ones for a giggle or two. They can be found for free download through AnimeMusicVideos.org (don’t worry, I’m not a creator or contributor so this isn’t publicity). I recorded the music directly to my computer as is and play it in the car for a good pick-me up, roadtrip or even a trip to the gym. Plus they list all the song titles and artists at the end if you find yourself wanting any of the full versions. Hope somebody gets something out of this tidbit of mine!

  26. Wanda Duck says:

Skin and Bones by the Kinks:
Put your hands up to the ceiling,
Bend your hips and touch your toes,
    Do your daily exercises,
You’re gonna look like skin and bone,

    Don’t eat no mashed potatoes,
    Don’t eat no buttered scones
    Don’t eat no carbohydrates
You’re gonna look like skin and bone.

  27. Michelle Thayer says:

This list is missing Lose Yourself by Eminem. That is my go-to power song that helps me push through those last few minutes of my workout.

  28. Mel says:

    Frank Stallone…Far From Over.

  29. Courtney says:

Don’t by Ed Sheeran. Flat out best running song ever.

  30. Pauline T says:

    Fighter by Christina Aguilera
Girl on Fire by Alicia Keys
The entire Truth about Love album from Pink
