The Best Bag Ever? We Think So. And We’re Giving Three Away!

May 17, 2011 by

livewellConfession: I have about four gym bags. And although they all function well, they don’t function perfectly. Either they have so many compartments or zippers that I lose stuff (or I lose track of what I “organized” where) or my dirty shoes and post-workout snacks get co-mingled with my regular clothes, leaving dust or crumbs on them and making me look a bit like a crazy person. I long thought that this problem was really my own fault. I mean seriously, how hard is it clean out your bag every once in awhile and make sure that your protein bars don’t get smashed to oblivion? But turns out, I’ve just been using the wrong bag! ‘Cause the Live Well 360 Core bag is perfection! With a separate place to stash your shoes and enough zippers to keep things organized without becoming a maze, along with a thick, comfortable adjustable strap and a très chic metro look, this bag is the best the fitness world has to offer. Hands down.

And the best news of all (because I know you all were losing sleep over my gym-bag woes)? Live Well 360 is generously giving away THREE bags to lucky U.S. FBG readers for our three-year birthday celebration. All you have to do is comment with what you’d stash in your bag if you won. (Although we encourage you to follow them on Twitter and Facebook, too!) That’s it! Then we’ll select three random comments to win next week.

These puppies retail for $129, and will seriously change your fitness life. So get to commenting! —Jenn

    Jody says:

I use my gym bag for both my dance classes and the gym so I have about 4-6 pairs of shoes in their at any given time. Maybe with a new bag I’d dedicate this one just for the gym so it would just have my shoes and headphones.

I am a triathlete who practically LIVES out of a gym bag! I currently use a backpack for all of my gear, but as you mentioned in your post, my energy bars and other food items get completely smashed! I would definitely use this bag to store my wet swimsuit (away from my dry clothes) along with my running shoes, towel and other workout clothes.

I would also use it to organize the smaller items that I carry like my Ipod, cell phone, shower items (small shampoos) and other food goodies!

    Debbie says:

My bag is heavy! I keep 2 bottles of water (long cardio sessions), shoes, 2 changes of workout clothes, towel, emergency items, small bag of food (have to start on empty stomach), tunes, small makeup bag. I’m sure I forgot something here. I think 2 of my bags have holes in them and need to be retired! I like how thin these are. My fat bags barely fit in the gym lockers.

  • 57
    Ashley says:

    Workout clothes!

  • 58
    Emily says:

    Fun, fun!

I’d fill it with my go-to items: a pair of socks, my sneaks (and some flip-flops for when my feet need a breather!), underwear and a simple sundress along with my post-workout beauty supplies – lip gloss, mascara and some foundation. I like looking nice after my workouts since I’m usually headed somewhere else directly after :)

just to name a few :)

I would start off with my running shoes, my clothes, ipod, water bottle, hair band and socks… but we all know that within about 2 weeks, you would be able to find a plethora of randomness…which may or may not currently include a can of green beans, a dog toy and some legos…. (and no, I do not have any children)

  • 70

Let’s see…iPod, workout journal, spin shoes (in that cool shoe pouch!), extra clothes, socks, towels (both shower and workout), all shower stuff including shower shoes, bathing suit, water bottles and I would need a 2nd bag for my boxing gloves and mitts.

    renee says:

What I *would* stash doesn’t sound too different from everyone else. But since I’m too cheap to buy a real gym bag, with this legit bag I could stop combining all my gym stuff and work stuff into one completely inappropriate-for-work back pack. Trying to stuff clothes, sneaks, towel, water, lunch tupperware, water, newspaper, ipod, books, and anything else I could possibly need into my backpack is a puzzel-like challenge every morning.

  • 95

As a Group Exercise Instructor I have yet to find the perfect bag. Lately I have been carrying two! One for my clothes and one for my teaching stuff. Every day to the gym I carry several dozen CD’s, windscreens for the MIC, extra batteries, mic pack for around my waist, and my sign in sheet for my weekly mailing list. Then there is my workout stuff, water, towel, deodorant, snacks, extra hair ties, socks, my shoes and clothes of course. So I for sure would put that in there, along with my shoes, weights, resistance bands, water bottle, keys, cell phone, ipod and so much more. I get around a lot with working out, so I would be sure to tell everyone where I got it!

I carry a twelve year old gym bag that was a freebie from a previous employer. I am currently working out on my lunch hour; so I have to carry anything that I could possibly need to return to work as fresh as when I first arrived. In addition to a lock for the locker and towel, shoes, socks, and my workout clothes, I carry my water bottle (of course), knee support, baby wipes, body spray, deodorant, comb, and yes extra undies. I use my phone instead of an ipod but I do need my ear buds. Now that I’ve written it all down,I can’t believe I can fit it all in there.

I have been looking for a bag that will keep my stinky gym shoes away from my work clothes, and this bag is perfect for that. I could carry this one bag and not worry about a second bag to carry clean clothes in the morning so I can workout before work.

It would store my wallet, clothes for the workday, my phone, keys and makeup. Once the awesome morning workout is done then I can put all those sweaty gym clothes and shoes in the little compartment while the rest of my items stay nice a clean. What a refreshing idea all in one bag, that is even cute looking when walking around.

  • 183
    Melissa says:

OMG, I need this bag. The thing I love most is the separate compartment for my shoes. And did I mention I frequently also stop at the grocery store en route home?
Basically, I need a bag that can do it all without weighing 30 (lopsided) pounds. And I think this could do it in a trendy way? Please please please? :) Love you guys, congrats on three years!

The current situation is a bag inside another bag to avoid getting my clothes gross from my shoes.

  • 204

I could also store my jewelry in the neat little pouch while working out. I had never seen this bag before so I want to thank fitbottomgirls for showing it to me. I started pre-op aqua therapy (second knee surgery) and now carry: aqua shoes, gym shoes, street shoes, and slippers for the locker room (sorry, ladies, but I don’t need to pick up any germies) to the gym. Add in a swim suit; gym clothes; street clothes; and other necessities, and you’ve got an organizational nightmare using the most suitable thing I have, an old backpack. The Live Well 360 bag sounds and looks like the perfect bag for me after searching extensively and reading blogs, product descriptions, and major sites and department stores. Yes please!

This looks like a great bag. I don’t have one, so sometimes I use a grocery bag (I’m a student). I try to just take my cell phone, keys and a water bottle, and try to hide the bag in my jacket, but summer’s around the corner, so I won’t have a place to hide the bag if I won’t be wearing a jacket due to the weather. I’d still carry the same things like the cellphone, keys, & water bottle, plus a change of clothes, shampoo/conditioner, deodorant, & lotion to shower at the gym.
