Oh-So Hilarious Marathon Thoughts

June 16, 2011 by

Running a marathon is quite the memorable accomplishment. In many ways, it’s totally empowering and can even be a life-changing experience that shows you just how much your body can do when you work at it. But in many other ways, it’s memorable for a whole other set of reasons. If you’ve ever run a long distance or hope to run a marathon in your lifetime (or, really, have a pulse and a sense of humor), you must watch the video below. It’s a hilarious look at what goes on in the mind of a runner during a marathon. And I can personally vouch that it’s totally—and hilariously—true!

I have no goal to run a full marathon, but I do have a goal to share this with everyone I know that even thinks about running. I’m in tears and may or may not have just peed myself. I’m almost positive this will be what goes on in my head when I do run my half marathon in December. Dammit. lol
