Finally! Toning Apparel That Doesn’t Make Us Feel Like a Sausage!

While the capris hit it out of the boding-toning park, I wasn’t as thrilled with this Fila Body Toning tank. While the tank is super flattering and feels more slimming than squeezing-the-life-out-of-you, I found that due to the tighter fit and thicker material (like the capris, the fabric is thicker than most workout apparel), it tends to rub in all the wrong places. Even after just a 30-minute circuit workout of cardio moves and weights, I could feel the tank rubbing my underarms in a not-so-good way, and I didn’t have the guts to try a 5K run in it. (Have you ever chafed? OMG, it’s not fun.) I do have broad shoulders and tend to carry extra weight up top (unfortunately not in the boob area!) though, so maybe it’s just me.

Like the capris, the tank is super high-quality and I love, love, love the space dye in pink. It is a bit of a splurge at $45. Despite all of this though, this tank is still—by far—the best body-toning top I’ve tested thus far. And that pink space-dye color is so darn cute.

Have you tried Fila’s Body Toning line? What do you think of it? —Jenn
