Biggest Loser 12, Week 9 Recap: Singles, Baby!

biggest-loser-12*SPOILER ALERT* This post reveals details from last night’s The Biggest Loser 12 episode. So if you don’t want to know the dramatic details and results, click away, my friend, click away!

It’s finally singles week on The Biggest Loser 12! Hooray!

While there wasn’t nearly enough Bob to keep me satiated (is there ever though?), this episode sure did beat the socks off of last week’s kind of lackluster episode. First, there was the pentathlon, which featured—you guessed it—five different and pretty interesting events, including a popularity contest, a sprint-to-the-peg event, a trivia contest, a balance-work water challenge and a one-mile race with Mr. Apolo Ohno. Love him. I enjoyed the trivia best of all, but really all of the events were fun to watch.

Other notable BL 12 happenings? Well with the news that Anna Kournikova is out for next season, it seems that Dolvett will be sticking around (at least if the collective #BL12 Twitter reaction has anything to do with the decision—’cause we love him up in there!). In an incredibly heart-warming and honest manner, Dolvett shared his own painful personal story of growing up adopted and abused to get John to open up. It worked. Dolvett’s quote “”No one can take away my fight,” is a motto we should all use in tough situations.

Finally, it was time to say goodbye to Bonnie. The little blue Bon Bon offered herself up to go home after falling below the yellow line. At the age of 63 (thought I’d mention it, just in case you forgot), she sure is rocking it at home though.
