Biggest Loser 13 Episode 6: More Drama and Dolvett Gets Soaked(!)

February 8, 2012 by

biggest loser recap*SPOILER ALERT* This Biggest Loser 13 recap reveals details from last night’s episode. So if you don’t want to know the dramatic details and who was voted off of Biggest Loser 2012, click away, my friend, click away!

Compared to last week’s The Biggest Loser episode, last night’s show was more dramatic—then less dramatic and fun(!)—and then even more dramatic again. Oye.

The episode picked up from the same bickering and fighting that was at last week’s elimination and somehow didn’t end in a contestant getting punched. (Seriously, I thought Mark was going to lose it.) But thankfully, that Jerry Springer-ish stuff fell to the wayside as the teams focused on a really, really fun challenge. A challenge that involved the threat of both trainers falling into a pool. It. Was. Awesome. And although it looked freezing, Dolvett still looked darn yummy when he fell in. Am I right ladies, or am I right?

So with Dolvett in the pool, the red team lost, and they lost big. They lost their trainer for the week. So Bob got to go all Bob on his black team, while the red team ended up being trained by Kim. Yep, seriously. Since Kim and Conda have been buds, I wasn’t sure how Kim leading the team would work out, but she did a dang good job. She totally stepped up. And consequently, the red team lost almost double-digit numbers on the scale.

But, so did the black team. Bob had them up in the mountains, hiking and doing wall ball on the side of a cliff. It was pretty fun to watch, and apparently really effective because they also dropped big numbers, eventually winning the weigh-in.

So, again, the red team was at the elimination table—Conda with immunity since she lost the most weight on the team—and, of course, they voted off Adrian. And it got really awkward and dramatic again. Sigh. Poor Adrian. That guy certainly could have been more like his sister and just let the crazy play out in front of him instead of inserting himself in the middle of it, but the the red team never gave him a chance. Thankfully, Adrian is doing it just fine at home. My money is on him for the at-home winner. He’s got the fire, yo.

Instead of showing a video of the drama, let’s focus on the good, shall we? And these tips on how to eat out were pretty darn good:

I am not liking this season in general. The theme is no excuses. well all these contestants are doing is making excuses. There is to much bickering and not enough working on themselves and there weight-loss goals. Red teams, team work is falling apart. The excuses and whining is getting old. There needs to be a big turn around soon or the BL isn’t going to make it much longer.

Honestly Conda is really making this show not watchable. I cannot stand to listen to her. I felt really bad for Adrian. Yes was he defensive at every turn, probably but I would be defensive too with faced with this group. They were so nasty right from the get-go. The minute he walked in, instead of saying, wow you did so great on your own, they bitched and complained about how he didn’t “earn” his way on the ranch. WHAT?? Are you kidding. Every year they let someone back, and I have to say those at home, have it a lot harder, as they have to find the motivation to get up everyday and are not in a controlled environment like the ranch. They could have gone back to what they were used to doing, but instead stepped it up. The fact that the red team “claims” to be so friendly etc. They really looked like jerks when Adrian came on and yeah, he had the false bravado and a little bit of bragging, but not one of them really attempted to get to know him, instead they accused him of game play, accused him of getting a free ride onto the ranch while they worked so hard, bitched about his workouts, etc and so forth. I think Red Team as a whole needs to shut up and listen. Especially Conda. The mere fact that her mug was on the screen dominating yet again the next upcoming episode, it’s really turning me off from this season. I may have to abandon it on my tv rotation. She is that loathsome to me.

Conda is annoying but Adrian was unwatchable. He lied about how much he worked out and never listened to anyone, even his trainer. I did not feel sorry for him as his attitude was his downfall as it will be Conda’s when she does not have immunity. Hopefully he learned how to be humble during his time on the ranch.

I’m so way over Conda. While I felt bad for Adrian, I also found myself talking to the TV before he left saying “Dude, just shut up!”. He didn’t know how to be quiet for sure. But Conda, ugh, she makes my skin crawl. When she was looking at Dolvett who was calling her out for being negative and complaining, that smug smikry “I know better than you” look – I really don’t know how he kept from slapping her silly. I sure wanted to. I want her to Go.AWAY.

My husband and I stopped watching after last week. I read your recap just to see if I was missing something but obviously we are not. This season has no motivation for me at all. I hate the nastiness and then drama. I miss the seasons when everyone was supportive game or no game. The only people losing this season are the viewers.

I truly wish they would stop focusing so much on the red team. I think if given the opportunity, I could find someone on the black team that I like and find inspiring. Conda just is not worth a second thought especially considering the disrespect she showed Dolvett.

Of course they were going to send Adrian home. They pretty much decided that before he even said anything because Conda, Kim & Mark are all petty bullies. Granted Adrian did brag too much…but they had no intention of giving him a chance.

Poor Kim. What a whiny woman! ‘Wah wah being the trainer this week was just too much responsibility.’ I thought she used to be a hot shot athlete…wrestler…whatever!

These losers have nothing but excuses!

I think Adrian got defensive because they were all so hostile to him from the minute he came back in. Conda is a total b-tch and trouble maker, she needs to go.
I hate her, I really hate her. The red team is shameful. No one stood up or even tried to be nice to Adrian. I find the people this time so unappealing. I am going to quit watching season 13, and hope for a better group next time.
This the worst group in general ever.

No, other contestants accused Adrian of lying about how much he worked out. Since he was home with no cameras, there is no way for them – or us – to know.

Conda and Adrian are both really annoying. Conda is just a bitch and Adrian definitely lied about his workouts. When he first came on, he said he was running at 9.0 at a 6 incline. I’m sorry but I just don’t believe that, especially after seeing him workout with the group. 9.0 is really hard already – at a 6 incline? Really? After that, I didn’t believe a word he said about his workouts.

And not that it really matters but because I didn’t want this episode until it was on Hulu, your subject line spoiled who won the challenge haha. Small spoiler but still :)
