Celebrities Fave Workout Gear: The Girls Capris and Shorts

When we usually hear about workout apparel that celebs wear, the price tags are none too cheap. In fact, they’re almost absurd. So the fact that Katie Holmes, Reese Witherspoon, Nicole Richie and Hilary Duff all have been seen sporting The Girls apparel, which has a bunch of pieces under $40? Well, color us thrilled! The Girls team reached out to us recently to try two of their latest pieces—the Pink Tie Dye Foldover Capri and the Tummy Control Bermuda Shorts. Tie Dye Foldover Capri

When I think of The Girls apparel, this is the piece that always comes to mind. The Girls capris are probably the most worn piece by celebs and that signature pink tie dye accent certainly is fun. I was surprised that these workout capris (best suited for yoga or light cardio), were both tight and loose. With an incredibly soft yet thick material, they smooth out your legs and move with you, giving you room to move but not so much room that your shape is lost. The fun fold-over waistband is particularly forgiving on the stomach area—and, again, the tie dye is totally fun (and comes in raspberry/white or black/white). And for $32.99, they’re a yoga capri that you can afford and that will survive multi rounds in the washing machine. A must in my book!
