Celebrities Fave Workout Gear: The Girls Capris and Shorts

What did I learn from testing these shorts? Well, that my legs are just not made to wear bermuda shorts. I either need capris or shorter shorts. But this fact has nothing to do with The Girls and everything to do with my genetics. (In my opinion, it’s hard to pull off this style unless you’re in grade school, stick-thin or have gams a la Tina Turner. Ms. Turner could totally rock these.) With that said, these are some of the nicest and most flattering bermuda shorts a gal can have. Made of soft cotton spandex, it’s one of the most comfortable and moveable “shaping” pieces we’ve ever reviewed. The tummy control is great, and the whole cut helps to contour your body. Again, if I felt more comfortable in bermuda workout shorts, this would be my pair. And at $21.60, they are totally affordable.

Overall, both of these pieces were quality and won’t break the bank. While neither have anything that I think make them insanely unique or fashion-forward (minus the tie dye), they are solid pieces. And I can see why celebs like to wear them. While both of these two pieces come in sizes small to XL, The Girls does have a couple of plus-sized options that are totally cute. We LOVE when we see cute options for those of us with a little more junk in the trunk!
