Devin Alexander’s 10 Healthy Cooking Substitutions for Decadent Eating

1. Forget the bottle and get a mister. I rely on my olive oil mister not only to mist pans, allowing me to use less oil, but also to spray on top of foods that would otherwise be fried after they emerge from the oven.

    Great article. I think it’s great to educate people on the little swaps they can make in their cooking and diet to ensure better health. I love to use coconut oil as a substitute for everything! It’s great instead of butter or oil and you can even make delicious chocolate by just mixing it with cacao and a little stevia.
    I also use stevia instead of sugar, and raw cacao instead of store bought cocoa.
