10 Ways How to Maintain Your Weight-Loss

1. Keep in mind that you aren’t “done.” You didn’t cross a finish line when you hit your goal weight. If anything, you are just getting started—getting started figuring out how to maintain this weight for the rest of your life. It’s a lifestyle, remember?

2. You can count calories if it works for you, but who wants to do that the rest of their lives? That doesn’t sound much like balance to me, so learn to eat intuitively without gaining weight, by putting more thought into the quality of your food instead of the quantity of calories. This ensures you eat only healthy, fresh and nutritious foods, while still being able to ease up and not fixate on numbers.

3. Keep moving! Your exercise regimen should stay much the same as it was when you were trying to lose weight and is imperative to keeping that weight off. Food is going to be the Big Deciding Factor in if you gain back your weight, but don’t skimp on exercise. You still need to make it a lifelong habit to keep your metabolism humming.
