A wise Fit Bottomed Girl (Jenn) once told me that when you’re on the right path, good fortune just flows. She couldn’t have been more right. It’s gotta be some sort of gift from the fitness gods because Angela Parker contacted me and asked if I’d like to work out with her for one of her upcoming fitness videos. Ladies, can you say “Luck be a lady tonight”? The same woman who inspired the heck out of me on MTV when she trained Chelsea was asking ME if I’d like to work out with her…Holy kettlebell swings!
Of course I said “yes,” and before I could say “stalker-ific,” I was in Angela’s green room getting ready for our workout together. It was surreal and then some. Angela came bursting into the room (diesel as a mother trucker!) and full of good energy. She spent some time getting to know me and my fitness goals, and then we got to work on some killer workouts. Workouts that ya’ll will be able to see come February when the workout is posted on her site. (You know I’ll share it once it’s available!)
I love clever, strategic workouts. When a trainer accepts your body shape, listens to your goals and then creates a program around those goals and that body reality, you know you have a good egg. And Angela is a good egg. I’m so excited to see the video and even more excited to incorporate her workouts into my routine. Man, I was super sore the next day. My muscles got a fantastic rude awakening, but that kind of pain is worth it and oh-so necessary!
