Not to Get All High and Mighty But…

high-mighty-bars

The High & Mighty bar’s ingredient list certainly lives up to its name!

With a name like High & Mighty, these bars that NutriFit sent us to try recently have a lot to live up to. And do they? Well, yeah, they pretty much do.

While probably not my favorite bar of all time, these are dang delicious with nutritional stats that can’t be beat (excect for more protein—but I ALWAYS want more protein). With less than 175 calories a bar, plus being high in fiber, 100 percent natural and free of trans fats, gluten, nuts and dairy, they’re made with gluten-free brown rice cereal, old-fashioned gluten-free organic rolled oats, unsweetened organic dried coconut, sunflower seed butter, organic dates puree and soy protein powder.

While there are a few flavors available, we were just sent the High & Mighty Sun-Date Bar, which was–unlike many bars that we taste-test—sweet without being overly sweet. These are a little bit crumbly, but filling and satisfying. A nice mix of dates and oats that tastes good and is perfect when you need a snack on the go.

So it looks like NutriFit’s Chef Jackie Keller has done it again—a healthy and natural snack bar that delivers! Tell us, what are a few of your favorite snacks when you’re out and about? —Jenn
