So grateful for your comments, dear readers! Credit By: muffintinmom

Thank you, thank you, thank you to all those who were kind enough to share your experiences and suggestions with me regarding the acid reflux post from November. I can’t stress enough how wonderful it is to have a forum like this where you can discuss your health and get the kind of feedback I received. When you read that others are going through the same thing, it takes away some of the stress. I suddenly didn’t feel crazy anymore. That alone is worth a thousand virtual high-fives!

Latest update: the holistic approaches I took unfortunately weren’t helping ease the pains I was experiencing. (I was put on probiotics and enzymes.) So I went to a new doctor, ruled out some other stuff (because I was finally told acid reflux is a symptom of something else happening in your body) and got a new plan of attack—finding and going after my allergies.

I can’t even tell you how relieved I was to learn that all of my symptoms were confirmed as allergy issues by a real, honest-to-goodness allergist. I went in for a bunch of blood work a couple of weeks ago and hopefully this week I learn what pesky foods and airborne allergens are messing with my body. I’m ready to have my energy back! I despise the bloating and the itchy throat! I’m hoping by next week I’m a brand new woman. As long as they don’t tell me I’m allergic to air…or kale…I think I’ll be a happier person. And then I can really get back to my fitness goals.

I urge you all to keep pushing if your instincts say the doctors’ hypotheses aren’t cutting it. I didn’t want to just Band-Aid my issues and walk away. I wanted answers. And, by golly, allergies are important y’all! Trust me! —Tish

The Bio-K+ strawberry product helps me, immediate relief. I’m working on figuring it out too. Best wishes for licking this thing once & for all.

There are millions of people who suffer from gastro-esophageal reflux disease. Fortunately, there are natural health solutions that are effective in treating this problem. I had relief from this issue by using a combination of herbal teas for digestion and maintaining a healthy diet by eating healing foods such as carrots and broccoli.

I know exactly how you feel. My son and I both experienced acid reflux for a long time. Both my son and I went through some pretty bad symptoms of acid reflux. We literally couldn’t sleep because he would vomit throughout the night. We had to wedge his pillows a bit, just to give him some support to be able to breathe better. I as well had my share of bad experiences. In the end, support and knowledge is what gets you through. Take care..
