Want To Look Like Heidi Klum? Get Her Workout Secrets With Andrea Orbeck’s Supermodel Series

I know the guys weren’t the only ones ohhhing and ahhhing while watching any Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show. In fact, some of us FBGs noticed that there was more than just lingerie making its way down that runway—there were girls in great shape (with muscle!). Although some believe that it’s all genetics, you’d be surprised to find out that the only thing genetic about these bodies is their height (and maybe the boobs). Andrea Orbeck, the creator of Supermodel Series: Butt and Thighs, has shared her secrets to get those tight buns of steel so you, too, can walk down the runway of life.

Orbeck, Heidi Klum’s secret weapon, reminds us that looking like a supermodel isn’t always the glitz and glamour we think it is. It’s lots of hard work. In Orbeck’s Supermodel Series, she demonstrates her signature moves that help to tone and sculpt your glutes and thighs. Using quick drills, the “Hipster” resistance band and light strength training, this 50-minute workout may have your muscles a lot more sore than you’d expect.

Orbeck’s high-energy program, which uses her famous Minute Moves, focuses completely on the lower body. With the help of two background exercisers, Orbeck begins the workout with a 5-minute warm-up and then heads straight into cardio drills. Each drill lasts for one minute and includes jumping and bopping around to elevate your heart rate. Luckily, there are modifications for most of these exercises. Once your heartbeat is racing, Orbeck leads you into dumbbell strength work, which includes single-leg deadlifts, rows and lunges. Then, she repeats the cardio routine, giving you an opportunity to really push yourself and perfect those cardio squats, jumping jacks and step touches.

Now, this is the part that really hurt—in a good way! The Pilates floor routine with the help of the Hipster (which comes with the DVD!) is one of the most excruciating routines that I’ve ever done. I was clawing the floor while tossing around the idea of giving up—I know, very unlike me! I could feel parts of my glutes that I’ve never felt before…you know, those teensie-weensie muscles that we sometimes forget. Let me tell you, those side-lying leg-lift variations will get the best of you no matter how many times you do them! Once you’re relieved from the burning booty, the whole program finishes with a final core routine.

Fit Bottomed Line: Andrea Orbeck’s Supermodel Series: Butt and Thighs is separated into four different parts, which can either be played all at once or in segments if you only have a couple of minutes. The Hipster routine is a MUST-DO and can also be integrated in any other leg programs that you may currently be doing.

I can promise this butt-and-thigh workout DVD will pleasantly surprise you! Have you ever tried any other of Andrea’s workouts? Did you like them? —Raquel
