Well, Aren’t These New Sunglasses Swell?
Sing it with us now: Our fit future’s so bright, we gotta wear shades.
What? It doesn’t go like that? Well, it should.
Regardless, it’s summer! And summertime comes with sunshine and lots of outdoor workouts. Workouts where your peepers might need some extra protection. From UV rays to debris to bugs (Ever got one in your eyeball or mouth? Grossness.), sunglasses do more than just make you look cool, they keep your eyes safe. And like these Oakleys we recently reviewed, the new Guideline Swell that we were recently sent to review is a really nice mix of performance, comfort and cuteness.
A little funky and fun, the frames are certainly cute, and the large square polycarbonate lenses are polarized, durable and 100 percent UV A and B ray protective. The copper lens have a silver flash mirror, which may look cool, but actually help with lower-light conditions and overcast days—especially useful when jogging or biking through full sun and shaded areas. With a comfy fit, these feel great when you’re out doing just about anything! And the copper lenses have a way of making gorgeous green-and-blue landscapes even more beautiful. And at just about $70 they’re not cheap, but they’re also not as pricey as some other performance sunglasses on the market.
Do you always rock a pair of sunglasses during your outdoor workouts? Have you invested in a performance pair or not? —Jenn
