Can’t Decide Between Brats or Burgers? Make Both With the Bratburger

bratburger

Tomorrow is the 4th of July, and you know what that means—parties and grilling galore! And when we grill for a crowd, my husband and I always debate the same question: Should we do brats or burgers? Followed up by: How many? Ending with: Us barely having enough of both for everyone or us having A TON of one of them leftover. Who feels me? Well, Karen over on Fit Bottomed Eats has a solution for this.

FBG readers, meet the Bratburger. Bratburger, meet the FBG readers.

A mix of pork and sharp cheddar, it tastes like a bratwurst but without all that grease. Serve it on a whole-wheat bun piled high with cole slaw, alongside a beer and this healthy and festive potato salad, and call it a 4th to remember.
