This spring, Jared and I will celebrate our 10th anniversary, and I’m so excited I can hardly stand it. I mean, obviously, I’m pretty stoked that we’ve got such a good thing going and still dig each other so much — I know better than to take that for granted. But also? We’re planning a freaking amazing vacation to Hawaii to celebrate. I’ve never been there, and Jared’s only gone for work, so, I mean, we’re just looking forward to it more than I can even explain.
As I’ve mentioned a few times, I love planning, so we’ve been planning bits and pieces (and saving up!) for the past year or two. We know which islands we’ll hit (Kauai, The Big Island, Oahu, Maui and Lanai), where we’re staying, and we’ve got a few adventures planned for each stop. We’ll be hiking, kayaking, biking and surfing (and paddleboarding, I hope!) — you know how I love being active on vacation. And, of course, there’ll be some sightseeing as well.
Even though we certainly have lots of great stuff planned, I’m still on the lookout for fantastic, fit fun, and I figured there’s probably no better place to ask for ideas than here! So, those of you who have been to Hawaii — what should we do? I’d love to hear your active ideas, but I’d also appreciate fab restaurant recommendations as well as great places for meditation and relaxation. If you loved it, I want to hear about it.
