Headphone Review: Putting 4 New Pairs to the Test
Jabra Sport Wireless+
The Jabra Sport Wireless+ combines high-quality sound and the ability to switch from your playlist to radio to a phone call with the convenience of a wireless, all-in-one headset specially designed for athletes. It uses Bluetooth technology to hook up with your phone seamlessly, but if you don’t feel like even having your phone nearby, you can easily tune (and store!) your favorite FM radio stations.
Also? It’s tough. As in rain and dust proof and shock resistant … to a U.S. Military standard. So probably it can hang in there for your workout, is what I’m saying.
Charging and hooking up the Jabra to my phone was a piece of cake. More difficult for me was a) getting the different eargels on (it comes with seven options to ensure a good fit) and, b) finding one that was the right fit for me. To be fair, the first ones I put on were a great fit for my husband, so it’s probably just luck of the draw, but I’m a little embarrassed to say how long I spent putting those things on and taking them off.
The Jabra Sport Wireless+ costs $99.99 and offers free shipping and a 30-day guarantee. And even I could figure out which eargels fit me best within a 30-day period. —Kristen
