Brooks Running Review: Women’s Chariot

brooks-chariot

Okay, so these aren’t exactly new running shoes. But they once were (in 1982 to be exact), and they’re back in awesome tweaked form. The new Women’s Chariot ($89.99) is part of Brooks new Heritage Collection, which is a high-fashion and trendy throwback to Brooks popular shoes of yesteryear, that we’re pretty much obsessed with. During my Seattle trip to Brooks HQ in June, all of employees were wearing these, and we were all eyeing them. Hard. Designed as everyday kicks to wear with jeans (or a skirt or dress — whatever floats your boat!) not running shoes (so maybe size down from your usual Brooks size), these are comfy with lots of cushioning and feel great on your feet every single day. Brooks will be releasing more and more of these retro shoes (We cannot wait for the winter styles to be released! I got a sneak peek a few weeks ago, and, guys, they are CUTE) as the year progresses, so be on the lookout for them!
