SPOILER ALERT!* We’re recapping tonight’s The Biggest Loser episode (get all the recaps here!), so avert your eyes if you don’t want to know what happened.

Lots of ping-ponging back and forth between Hawaii and Comeback Canyon this week. The final five contestants, still working out in Hawaii, were told to think about 2015 and work to make it their best year yet.

Quote of the Week

From Jen: “You work for the life that you want, and they’re doing it.”

Over at Comeback Canyon, Jordan was battling against the mighty QB Scott, who appears to be unstoppable.

Back in Hawaii, Dolvett wanted to challenge Rob, who has come a long way on his weight-loss journey. But rappelling over a waterfall? “No way,” Rob said. “Look at me. Do it!” Dolvett told him. And he did it.

Jessie’s special project was Lori. As we watched in flashbacks, she has also conquered many of her fears and obstacles, and Jessie had her swing over a jungle.

At Comeback Canyon in Malibu, Bob had a high-flying challenge for Jordan and Scott — they had to shimmy up a pole and then walk, tethered across another pole 25 feet up in the air to the other side. They weren’t sure they could do it, but like everyone else tonight, they did.

Wearing a swimsuit in public — also a terrifying concept for many people. But Sonya and Lori rocked their swimsuits on the beach in Kauai and joked about how they felt wearing swimsuits before they lost weight. (Apparently the sight made Sonya’s cat throw up!)

The Challenge

Using lacrosse sticks, the contestants had to traverse an obstacle course with a coconut. They’d then fling those coconuts into goals and whoever got three to the goal would get a 1-pound advantage at the weigh-in, which is back on the mainland. Apparently coconuts and lacrosse sticks are not compatible because there was a lot of frustration on the course. But Lori prevailed and won the 1-pound advantage.

Comeback Canyon Weigh-In

Would Jordan be able to win another week with Bob or would Scott continue his winning streak? Jordan lost 8 pounds and Scott lost 9, so Scott continues his streak and Jordan will be heading home.

Ranch Weigh-In

There’s a red line this week and Lori has a 1-pound advantage. How’d they do?

  • Toma: 8
  • Lori: 3
  • Sonya: 5
  • Rob: 6
  • Woody: 3

Woody lost the weigh-in, but boy, was he optimistic for the future. “Now that I believe in myself, there’s no obstacle that can stop me,” he said. (Well, maybe Bob Harper, but we’ll see next week.)

Jordan’s Update

Wow, does Jordan look great — he’s now down 128 pounds. And going home enabled him to be there for the birth of his son, Sawyer, who sported a red Biggest Loser onesie. “From Day 1, he gets to see a healthy dad,” said the proud pop.

What to Expect Next Week

Oooh, it’s the Makeover Episode! Couldn’t see much from the preview, but fashion guru Tim Gunn and hair guru Ken Paves will be back to work their magic on Lori, Sonya, Rob and Toma. And don’t worry, Woody and Scott, there’ll be Comeback Canyon makeovers, too. Gavin DeGraw will also pop in to serenade the spiffed-up contestants.

Can you believe the finale is coming up at the end of the month? Who do you think will be in the finals? — Gail
