3 Unique Mother’s Day Gift Ideas for Every Budget

mothers-day-gifts

Mother’s Day is quickly approaching. And while flowers are always a nice gift, don’t you want to do something a little more unique this year? We thought so. Here are three fun and unique ideas — some fitness-related, some foodie-related and some stress-reducing — to gift this year!

1. Me-Time/Us-Time Coupons: Free to $50

What is the one thing new moms need more of? Time for themselves. What’s the one thing moms of kiddos who have flown the nest probably want? More time with you. So this year, give them what they really want! Hand-make or print out from the computer “coupons” that gift them anything they need. It can be an hour of cleaning the house, childcare, laundry, grocery shopping, cooking, mowing the lawn — or activities you can do together like a mani/pedi, going to see a movie, going out for a glass of wine, trying a new fitness class together. Get creative with it!

2. An Olive Tree: $49-$200

Yes! You can get your mom an olive tree, no matter what climate you live in. Because we’re actually talking about adopting an olive tree in Italy! Through Pomora, you can adopt an olive tree that comes with an Adoption Certificate and an Adoption Booklet of information about your tree. (They automatically send it electronically, so it’s actually a great last-minute Mother’s Day gift idea.) Then, throughout the year, your farmer will keep your mom up-to-date with news of the tree and how the season is progressing. Oh, and you’ll get olive oil from it. All for $49 per quarter. Pretty rad, right? Especially great for the outdoor-loving, loves-to-travel foodie mom!

3. Fit Bottomed Shirts: $15-$30

Not to toot our own horn (warning: here comes own horn-tooting), but we’ve got some pretty great tees and tanks in our store. From the hilarious to the inspirational to the downright factual, there’s a little something for every mom (including some mama-specific ones). Check them all out here!

How are you celebrating Mother’s Day? And moms: How do you really want to celebrate? A massage is at the top of my list …Jenn
