5 Travel Hacks for Your Next Vacay

travel-hacks-585Traveling is fun. But packing everything you need while you’re away from home — especially on your active adventures — can be, well, tricksy. So for that reason — and because, um, these solutions are kind of brilliant! — we put together five of our new favorite travel hacks for Fit Bottomed Vacay Week.

1. Sunglasses that do double-duty: Nike Vital Sunglasses

Cute, protective and great for activity, you can’t go wrong with these sunglasses ($126). They’re fashionable enough to wear when you’re out and about doing your vacation thang, but they’re also great if your vacation thang turns into a high-intensity workout. The female-specific six-base frame has a rubber nose bridge and temples, which means that they stay put, even during dynamic movement!

2. A simple solution to boob sweat: Belly Bandit Don’t Sweat It

We’ve all been there. You’re wearing a cute top — perfect for all those great pictures you’ll be taking while exploring and sight-seeing! — but the more you walk, the hotter you get, and the more you start to sweat … sometimes in less-than-ideal spots. Like under your boobs. This thin, comfy liner ($19.95) tucks right between your bra and underboob area to help minimize that big wet line o’ sweat. It won’t solve the problem entirely if you’re sweating profusely, but it could certainly be a photo-saver. Shoot, you might even be able to wear silk!

3. A bag to hold all your GoPro goodies: TENBA ActionPack

Is your motto “Pictures or it didn’t happen?” Can’t go anywhere without your GoPro … and every accessory you have for it? The TENBA ActionPack (available in both a 12L and 14L size ($129.95 and $199.95) is compact and easy to carry — it’s even padded for comfort. Large GoPro accessories fit in easily, and there are smaller, zippered pockets for all those small bits and knobs — with a little effort, you should be able to stay pretty organized. You might not be able to fit everything else you need for the day in there (we said it was compact!), but in terms of having your selfie stick, suction cups, headbands, chargers, extra batteries and grips, you’ll be covered.

gocomb

4. The comb you can take everywhere — and doesn’t look like a comb at all really: GoComb

The size of a credit card, the GoComb ($13.99) is perfectly portable no matter where your travels take you. It comes in different colors and designs, as well as in its own case. And you can even have it personalized. The best part though is the fun colors and designs it comes in. They’re simply gorgeous and pretty much perfect to stash for detangling or smoothing your hair after that beach run, snorkeling session or time in the convertible. (Because no one wants to recreate this scene. Sorry, Bridge.)

bubi-bottle

5. A water bottle that doesn’t take up extra space when it’s not in use: Bubi Bottle

Besides having a legit reason to say “boo-bee” anytime you use it (we’ll never grow up), this water bottle is straight-up cool. The Bubi Bottle ($16.99) is foldable and BPA-free. The bottles are small and compact, so you just roll and go. In a travel pinch, it can even double as a water-proofing apparatus, multi-use container or a hot/cold compress. Now that’s a travel hack!

What travel hacks do you swear by? Number six on our list would be to just go with the flow. Because it’s usually when we give up expectations that the adventure really happensJenn & Kristen
