We like to think that by “thing,” Mr. Ralph Waldo Emerson meant the “Fit Bottomed Challenge.” Because if you do it — even if you miss a day here or there — you will have the power to make yourself healthier, happier and, of course, more fit bottomed. Now go do the thing! Get the power!

What to Expect This Week of the Fit Bottomed Challenge: September 7-13

Monday, September 7: It may be a holiday, but that doesn’t mean you can’t make it a healthy one! In fact, today we challenge you to go ahead and eat those Labor Day grilling-out faves, but to do so mindfully by using this hunger/fullness chart. Use it today — and for the rest of the month if you want. As this post says, practice makes all the difference!

Tuesday, September 8: Have you heard about the Real FBGs movement? Read up on it here and get inspired!

Wednesday, September 9: Grab a water bottle and do this 10-minute core workout.

Thursday, September 10: You know how last week you made a fitness bucket list? Today, select one or two things you can do this month from said list. (You can probably see where this is going, right?)

Friday, September 11: Get your fit Friday on by trying a Nano Workout (or two!). You can do them pretty much anywhere!

Saturday, September 12: Time to add on a few more burpees! This Saturday, we challenge you to do your fave fit activity for 15 minutes, followed by 10 burpees. (Hate burpees? Learn to love them!)

Sunday, September 13: Here are some of our favorite fitness quotes of all time. But we think that you’re just as genius as they are. So today, we want you to quote yourself and come up with your very own phrase or motto that motivates you to get out and do the darn thing! Share it with us on Twitter or Instagram with #FBGChallenge for a chance to win some fit free goodies! (U.S. only, pretty please.)
