A Mini Band Strength Circuit You Can Do Anywhere

My clients ask about travel workouts all the time. And can you blame them? I mean, why put your training on hold just because you’re hitting the beach or going to a work conference?

In the past, I’ve given them body weight workouts like this deck of cards workout but lately I’ve been getting creative with mini bands. (These are our fave mini bands — so much so that we’re an affiliate and you can save 15 percent on them with code “AFBG15” now through Sept. 30, 2017!) And why not, they’re super easy to pack, take up no space in your luggage, and provide just that little bit of extra resistance.

And you know what? They’re so versatile that there actually aren’t many exercises you can’t do with them. After playing with my bands for a while, I discovered the possibilities are endless.

Check out this awesome strength circuit that only requires you to pack two mini bands for your next trip — taking up less space than a pair of socks. So no more excuses to ditch your strength training while you travel.

  1. Mini bands are the best for portable resistance. If you are traveling and staying at hotels though, there is a trend now where some brands are offering in-room fitness. This has ranged from workout sneakers and clothes you can get to kits of yoga mats and dumbbells you can borrow from the front desk. Recently the in-room concept expanded to a full functional fitness station with GymRax, TRX, SandBell sandbag training weights, yoga mat, and indoor bike. The coolest feature is a dedicated tablet to lead you through various workouts. Hilton calls it five feet to fitness.
So always have min-bands, but I would check out some of the new options as hotels get creative.

  2. You can’t carry dumbbells and rods with you when traveling. But this band is very much convenient and great for peoples like us the ‘fitness enthusiasts’.

45 minutes workout can be very effective.

  4. Within every three month me and my husband goes for vacation. But at the vacation time i have been missing our workout. I think this this then best idea to continue our workout in our vacation. Because this “strength band” can doing any where anytime.
