You know, it’s funny. When it comes to doing high intensity interval training (HIIT), I always think of the bike or the treadmill. I rarely think of the elliptical. Sure, I may hop on for 30 minutes and vary the intensity a little bit, but I never really take it to the full HIIT level.

That was then. This is now.

Elliptical Express has opened a whole new HIIT world to me! To be honest, I’d been finding the elliptical pretty boring lately, but through the coaching of fit pro Stephanie Vitorino and the sick tunes of Deekron The Fitness DJ that pair rather magically with the intervals, the elliptical is back in my life and I am loving it! Just like the structure of the other Cardio Express albums by MotionTraxx — Treadmill Express and Cycling ExpressElliptical Express features three 20-minute HIIT workouts, each with its own warm-up and cool down.

No matter your fitness level, Stephanie runs you through series of intervals based on varying speeds and resistances that leave you realizing that you have NOT been making the most of your time on the elliptical. (That can’t just be me, right?) By the end of the 20 minutes you’ll be tired, sweaty and feeling uber accomplished. Who knew the elliptical could be so darn intense?!

That said, the workouts on this album are really, really fun. The music is pretty irresistible and Stephanie’s coaching is on point. It’s the perfect quick yet intense workout, and for just $9.99 to download the whole album on iTunes for your phone or MP3 player, it’s a pretty darn good deal. I guarantee you’ll never see the elliptical the same way again! I know I won’t …

Are you making the most of your time on the elliptical? Do you do HIIT workouts on it? —Jenn
