Besides the fact that I really enjoy that Honda has a car called the “Fit,” (yep, that marketing worked on me!), I’ve never really paid much attention to cars—let alone car commercials. Just give me a reliable car that gets good gas mileage and doesn’t look atrocious, and I’m okay with it. But when Honda released this marathon commercial? Well, I just loved it. LOVED it. See what you think…

Great, right? I love that a) it captures how you actually can’t walk right after running a marathon and b) the sense of accomplishment—even after coming in way later than everyone else. It may not be as funny as this hilarious marathon video, but it takes a close second in my opinion.

First there was Sh*t Girls Say… and since then, there’s been about a million other hilarious ones. Some about vegans, others about runners and even healthy living bloggers. And now, well, there’s a Sh*t Fit Bottomed Girls Say video.

FBG Kristen came up with the idea about a month ago to make fun of ourselves (we’re always down for that!) and put a new positive twist on the popular video format, and, well, hours of filming and editing later, we have the below piece of FBGness. Whether you’ve been reading the site for a few weeks or years, you’ll know that we really do say this stuff all the time. Hehe.

And as a quick note, this was filmed just weeks before Erin had her baby—and obviously her scenes were staged, so she wasn’t actually out running miles and miles. We’re all about active pregnancies over on Fit Bottomed Mamas, but—like all things—everything in moderation. Oh, goodness…we’re fulfilling our own stereotypes!

Fact: We’re not for sure that it’s a true story—but we don’t think it’s entirely fictional. After all, Planet Fitness is a real gym with a real Lunk Alarm (beware: video is quiet, but he does drop an F-bomb).

Bacon, Bieber and yoga. I can’t think of three stranger things that seemingly don’t go together…yet do. Like perfection. While speaking at the Health and Fitness Bloggers Conference in Boulder this June, I had a chance to meet the man behind No More Bacon, Ryan Sullivan. Simply delightful (and hilarious) in person, Ryan gave an awesome talk about fitness blogging—and mentioned a little video he did that his readers loved.That little video? You guessed it, involved Bieber and yoga.

I know we’ve been talking about Trader Joes a lot lately (I”ll admit, I’m obsessed), but that doesn’t mean that we don’t like other organic and natural-food grocery stores…like Whole Foods. (Have you been to their hot bar? Despite the fact that it sounds like a place where they serve up boobies and cocktails—not kale—that place is de-freaking-licious. Especially the kale, for the record.)

So when we stumbled upon this “rap” video, detailing a trip in the Whole Foods parking lot and store, we just laughed and laughed and laughed. Both ridiculous and true (isn’t the best comedy that way?), we just had to share. It’s getting real in the Whole Foods parking lot…

In the Fit Bottomed Girls’ minds, you don’t get much funnier than people singing, dressed up in veggie costumes. Except maybe for that e-mail that goes around every Halloween with the dogs dressed up as Yoda or Harry Potter, or as the actual “dog” in “hot dog,” that one always gets me.

However, and this is a big however, this little ditty will get stuck in your head. And that always scores extra points in the funny category. So, sit back, push play, and prepare to nod your head Night at the Roxbury style to brilliant lines such as “I know you’re my soul mate. We could share the same plate,” and “Come into my freezer, so I can keep you forever.” Ignore the part of your brain that’s saying “What in tarnation is this?” and roll with the radishes.

Do the carrot dance, ya’ll. Summer has just begun.
