Happy Black Friday!

Happy busiest shopping day of the year! Whether you’re hitting the stores to do your Christmas shopping or you’re still too stuffed with stuffing to move and are therefore shopping via the point-and-click method, we hope you have a blast gearing up for the holiday season. As long as you avoid the food court and all of the oh-so-tempting goodies you’ll come across, the FBGs approve of a shopping extravaganza as a workout substitute. Not for good, of course, but just for the day. Even slow walking ratchets up a solid calorie burn (not to mention is easy on the joints), and hauling bags around all day can definitely be counted as strength training. Plus, if you’re out with a friend or family member who makes you giggle, laughter works those abs. And if you want some interval training as well, you could always add in a sprint or two like these people rushing into Circuit City in 2006. Although, honestly, I think it’s better to be less crazy and maybe just skip the intervals for the day. —Erin
