Hi! My name is Alia, and I thought I would share my weight-loss story with you. After gaining 75 pounds with my daughter in 2005, I was tipping the scales at about 250 pounds. I tried many times to lose weight, but it seemed like nothing was working, and then I would get discouraged and just give up. In 2008, I got pregnant again with my son. In December of 2008, after I had my son, I was still weighing in at 251.
My husband was getting ready to deploy to Iraq and something had to be done. I changed my eating habits right away and began exercising regularly. I have since lost about 100 pounds and am still losing. I feel great, and I can’t wait until my husband returns so we can enjoy more outdoor activities together that we couldn’t before.
