My journey into weight-loss began 10 years ago when I took my daughter for her preschool screening. The teachers asked me to have a seat, and I looked around trying to seek out a big chair, but I was asked to sit in a little toddler chair. I felt very scared that when I sat I would break the chair! After leaving that screening, I went and joined a gym and have been into working out ever since.
I have lost a total of 116 pounds. It took me 10 months to lose 100 pounds. Through my years of living this healthy lifestyle, I have become a cardio kickboxing instructor and a personal trainer. My goal has been to inspire people and show people that I am living proof that weight-loss can be achieved by working out and proper nutrition. I enjoy teaching and training and love helping others get fit. —Tammy Schmidt
