How Do You Take Your Yoga?

Yoga, yoga, yoga. There are more styles of yoga than there are days of the week. And to be honest, I kind of love them all. Sure, I favor the hippity-dippity, flowing types of yoga a bit more than others (like I mentioned yesterday), but I can see the benefits to all of the different types of yoga, to be honest. Fitness-y or not. Stretchy or not. With Jillian. With Bob. In 105 degrees. In the nude. I sort of love them all…well, besides the naked kind (not sure I could do that and relax at the same time) and the scary-baby kind. How about you though? What best describes your ideal yoga session?

  1. I am with you, I like any kinds. I like the flow, but I’ll take what I can get when it comes to yoga. And, you are so right…there are benefits to all kinds. You get the most benefit from the kind you will do! Yoga makes you feel good!

  2. I love vinyasa yoga — feels like a nice slow dance. And I like repeated poses multiple times, I feel like it deepens my understanding of the poses. Namaste!

  3. These are very nice tips for lossing weigth i want to try some of them, I do a lot of exercise but when i go into my vacations or the hollydays hit i tend to go lazzy and burnning down that extra weigth is always an issue

I personally like the to do a more flowing style of yoga, might be the 15 years of dancing…But the beautiful thing about yoga is that there is a style for everyone and they all are good for you, whether you just want to meditate, or you just want a physical workout there is a style for you. There are so many more developing too. I just read about people who do yoga on paddleboards…
