Celebrating the U.S. Open With Cute K-Swiss Tennis Apparel

I know I’ve been jabbering about it a lot on Facebook and Twitter (and even here), but it’s finally here: the U.S. Open tennis tournament! So get those serves, forehands, backhands and slices ready…it’s time to review some super-cute K-Swiss tennis apparel to celebrate the start of the U.S. Open!

So this K-Swiss tennis tank may be designed for the court, but I’ve pretty much declared it cute and functional enough to wear doing just about anything active. With a thicker and more supportive built-in bra than most tanks, as long as the girls up top aren’t too big, you can get away wearing this tank without wearing a normal sports bra—even when running and jumping. (Yeah, how awesome is that?) Which leads me to the next best thing about this tank: the super cute back! A crisscross of breathability, it almost rivals this workout apparel.

With mesh panels, chafe-free flat seams and just enough stretch to keep things in place without making you feel like a sausage, this tank is also flattering (even in the color white). At $44.95, it’s a pricier tank, but the quality is well worth it. And with a classic look, it’s a tank you’ll have—and be able to wear (no neon colors here!)—for years.

Full disclosure on this K-Swiss tennis dress: We did not actually try it on. The K-Swiss PR folks offered to send us a review dress, but seeing that it retails for $90 and knowing we’d only wear it once or twice on the court (and honestly feel like maybe we were a little too rusty to be rocking a look this darn cool—it’s kind of like how FBG Kirsten feels about Serious Cycling Outfits), it just seemed wasteful of cuteness on our part. However, from what we’ve seen of this dress…squeal! Made of moisture-wicking fabrics and with a flattering fit on the midsection, we die.

Although we’re not normally a fan of pleats, these simple low pleats seem like the perfect grown-up rendition of a high-school tennis skirt. We’re also digging the layered look up top. While we love the K-Swiss dress in blue, it also comes in black, white and grey. We wonder if any of the female tennis players will be wearing it at the U.S. Open…

Game, set, love, K-Swiss. Tell us, do you play tennis? If so, what do you wear? Dress? Skirt? Tank? —Jenn
