Did You Save Your Pregnancy Tests?

Did you save your pregnancy tests or toss them? Credit:

Maybe I’m a weirdo, but I saved my positive pregnancy tests when I found out I was pregnant with my daughter. I actually saved three of them. They’re currently in a plastic baggie in her keepsake box of baby paraphernalia. While it sounds a little weird to save something you peed on, it’s actually quite common. And I don’t think it’s that gross. Of all of the gross things I’ve dealt with in motherhood, it is probably the mildest on the grossness scale.

When I tested with baby No. 2, I just couldn’t bring myself to throw away that test. Or tests, as yes, of course I tested more than once. I just couldn’t bring myself to throw away the first tangible evidence of that little person. So into the plastic baggie they go, saved to look—and laugh—at in the future. What about you?

Are you a sentimental saver or do you just get grossed out? Tell me I’m not alone in the weirdness… —Erin
