What’s Your Goal This Holiday Season?

Now that the holiday season is in full swing, we want to talk goals. It’s always a bit of a challenge to get to the gym this time of year (whether it’s the holiday parties to go to or the weather to endure), and man-oh-man are there yummy treats just asking for you to nosh on (see above. Am I right, or am I right?). I typically set no goal this time of year other than to eat according to my hunger (all good things in moderation!), fit in at least a few cardio and weight-lifting sessions a week, and continue to fit into my clothes without them being too snug. What say you?

  1. I have been back on the wagon since October 14th and do not want to fall off. I believe that with journaling my food entries and continuing to exercise that I can do it. It may not be huge numbers, but I think that I can loose weight while achieving balance of enjoying the holidays. I signed up for a 5k in February to ensure that I do not use these next 6 weeks as an excuse to fall back off of the wagon. Best of luck to everyone!

  2. Believe it or not, this is the time of year that I have the most time. It’s my son’s baseball season that does in my exercise program. : )

  3. My goal is to lose another 6 pounds by Jan. 1. I have lost 6 already but with three beach trips coming up Jan. – March I want to be beach ready so I am trying to keep up my current fitness routines and add some additional toning moves to get rock hard abs and buns. I did well through Thanksgiving so I believe I can keep on the right path through the end of the year.

  4. I just want to maintain. I literally just reached my goal weight this morning so I’m going to be thankful to have a few extra hundred calories to play with now, especially during party season!
