CamelBak Water Bottle: Filtered Water at Your Disposal

CamelBakLimEdI love good-tasting water. The kind of water that has no aftertaste, or during-taste for that matter. But it’s not always convenient to have a jug of your home filtration system’s water on you at all times, and if you’re like me, you’d rather not spend way too much on water in a plastic bottle that will end up hurting the environment. The solution? The CamelBak limited edition Groove bottle.

The bottle makes a great gift for anyone during the holiday season, and in the spirit of giving, CamelBak has teamed up with Water.org (which was co-founded by Matt Damon) to donate $10 per bottle to some of the 884 million people who lack access to clean, safe water. That donation definitely makes the cost of $25 for plastic and $35 for stainless steel a bit easier to swallow.

The bottle itself is really cool, if I must say so. I received the plastic version (BPA-free, of course), and the water really does taste great out of it. No weirdness or aftertaste, and the filter is super easy to pop in. Plus, it’s actually really pretty. If you or someone you know have trouble tipping back your daily H20, this might be the ticket! I know I often get so busy that I’m not always thinking about my water intake, but having this to carry around is making for a well-hydrated week for me.
