Biggest Loser 13 Episode 11: Singles, Baby!

biggest loser recap*SPOILER ALERT* This Biggest Loser 13 recap reveals details from last night’s episode. So if you don’t want to know the dramatic details and who was voted off of Biggest Loser 2012, click away, my friend, click away!

Oh, how I love when The Biggest Loser gets down to singles! Yes, the alliances are still there, but I just love how everyone gets so darn focused on being their best—because there’s no longer a team there to help them out. Case in point? Kimmy. This whole season we haven’t gotten much out of her, but she really opened up to Dolvett last night about her past. And then she started believing in herself, realizing that she actually was strong. Loved it!

I was also reminded last night of how sweet Jeremy is. After a pretty cool challenge that involved ice and a white elephant prize exchange, he gave his shopping trip with “a celebrity” (re: Jessica Simpson to pimp her new fashion show) to Conda for her prize—a goldfish. Oddly enough, Conda chose Kim to accompany her to meet J-Simps, and they got their mini-makeover on, trying on all kinds of clothes (which were obviously more flattering than those big baggy BL T-shirts!).

Last night, we also go to know more about Emily, her struggles with self esteem and her past weight-lifting background. She even helped train Bob on how to do some power lifting. So. Cool. Unfortunately, all that good work didn’t translate into a huge loss on the scale. While almost everyone had a massive night for weight-loss, Kimmy and Emily were below the yellow line, and in traditional game-play-ness, the team sent Emily home. (Although, Conda did vote to send Kimmy home, saying that she was “voting with her heart and not her head.” I’m so not sure what that girl is up to, but I’m sure it’s something…)

Instead of showing a clip from the episode in today’s recap, I want to highlight this little gem of a trainer tip from Bob. We get this question now and again, and while it’s a big, semi-complicated issue, I love Bob’s concise advice to just get out and enjoy that new body!
