Apparel Review: Moving (in) Comfort This Summer

sports braMoving Comfort Jubralee Sports Bra

Always on a quest to find THE best sports bra, Moving Comfort claims that the Jubralee ($54) has it all—support and comfort in a flattering design. Rigorously tested in the company’s biomechanics lab to ensure the best support and fit possible, it has a seam-free interior, molded cups for support and shape, and is said to support even the largest of lady lumps. Seeing that I do not have large lady lumps (see comments in the tank review), we had reader and fit friend of FBG Jodi test the Jubralee out. (Thanks for testing, Jodi!) Her thoughts:

“Overall, I really like the Jubralee bra, but it has limited uses for a larger busted woman. Being a 34DD, having a good supportive bra is really important to me. This bra REALLY does that! It holds me up in all the right places, and I feel extremely supported and secure. The problem is that the support system is handled by using Velcro, which is very thin in width. While I had no problem biking, doing yoga or even running short distances in the bra, when I did a bootcamp class, the Velcro actually came undone (which causes both straps to fall down and boobs to be on a free for all!)! I think the constant bouncing and fast movements from side to side are just too much for the small piece of Velcro that holds up the straps. While I generally prefer a T-back style so I don’t have to worry about the straps falling off my shoulder, this bra does have a nice way of minimizing the uni-boob effect with the wider straps. However, I will only wear it for activities that do not involve quick movements or heavy lifting. :)”

So there you have it! A round-up of some of Moving Comfort’s new line for spring and summer. This is the first time we’ve reviewed their gear, so tell us, are you digging this brand? Worn their stuff before? Want to now? Dish! —Jenn

I haven’t worn their stuff, but I DO want to now! Good point about the tank AND the sports bra combined price for comparison. I always have to remind myself that the RIGHT sports bra can make a big difference. Having to slow down or stop b/c the girls are beat(up), instead of my legs, is always a disappointment.

Oh I’m tempted with the Jubralee, and Amazon has my size (hard to find 32 sometimes) for 24% off, but still, so expensive! Maybe wait for a sale to try. Pretty though.

I have to thank you for reviewing Skirt Sports here. I had signed up and was notified of a running skirt sale yesterday and scored 2 lovelies at only $26 each! And in my fav pink & purple colors (hence the love for the Flamingo-colored Jubralee above! Thanks Jenn!

Since last year MC is available in Europe, too and I am lucky found their Momentum Short. I absolutely felt in love with it and was running lately my marathon in them.
