Where the ‘Magic’ Happens: A Tour of FBG Jenn’s Writing and Work Space
For this round of Question of the Week, we are going super behind the scenes of FBG with a little tour (via photos or video) of each FBG’s writing and work space. Large or small, in need of cleaning or not, it’s—as they say on MTV Cribs—where the “magic” happens! So read and watch as we answer the question: “What does your work space look like?”
It’s funny. If you had asked me this question back in May 2008 when FBG first started, I would have shown you my laptop and a notepad with all kinds of doodles and reminders. A couple of years later, after finally quitting my full-time day job and doing FBG full time (plus some freelance writing), I moved up in the work-space world with my own desk and desktop computer in the living room. (Which, at the time, I thought was ah-mazing!) But these days? Well, I’ve graduated to a whole room of my house.
Being that I live in the Midwest where real estate is pretty darn cheap, I am blessed enough to have the space (we converted a spare room)—along with a husband who doesn’t mind home-renovation projects, even those that are pretty darn girlie. So come on…check out my office and work space!
In the coming months, I’d really like to update my light fixture and refinish my desk so that it’s a shiny white. Oh, and hire a cleaner…
