Here in FBG land (Which, did you hear, now includes Mamas and Eats?!), we are big fans of protein. The stuff keeps you full, helps your muscles repair after workouts and generally helps to keep your blood sugar levels stabilized and therefore your body happy-happy from a health perspective. So for today’s New Year New Rear giveaway we thought that it would be awesomesauce to give away the stuff. And because giving away grilled chicken breasts and salmon fillets and tofu might be a little, well, odd (not to mention logistically difficult and maybe even stinky), we’re giving away some protein powder!   1. Whey protein shake for breakfast, turkey in my salad at lunch, grilled chicken or fish for dinner, and a spoonful of almond butter for dessert.. YUM!! Twitter!

  2. I buy chicken breasts and tilapia or salmon in bulk and use my Foodsaver to seal it for freezing. In the morning I get out whatever lean protein strikes my fancy to thaw and it’s ready to cook up with some veggies after my post-work workout! I would like to try making shakes but I just can’t seem to find a protein powder that doesn’t have that awful artificially sweet taste.

  3. I’m a big fan of adding scrambled eggs to some chopped up veggies. Vitamins and protein all in one! 🙂

  4. I like making my own protein bars: oatmeal, peanut butter, protein powder, ground flax & maybe a little honey. all mixed together and pressed into bars. Yum!

  5. Since I don’t eat a lot of meat I have to rely on protein powder to get my protein intake to where it needs to be. Thanks for the giveaway! I’ve never tried any of GNCs products!
