Lasso a Yasso: A Frozen Greek Yogurt Bar That Satisfies

Fun fact: Yasso means "hello!" in Greek!

Fun fact: Yasso comes from the Greek word Yassou, which means “hello!”

Everyone needs a sweet treat now and again. But when said sweet treat comes sans artificial stuff and gives you some nutrition? Well, hello, dreamboat dessert. Which is kind of what Yasso Frozen Greek Yogurt bars are. They’re frozen, protein-rich heaven. And with a name like Yasso (check out the fun fact in the caption, ya’ll!), you’ll just want to lasso ’em up.
Okay, you’re right. That joke was a stretch. We’ll try not to make it again…
With just 70 calories in a big bar (no dinky portions here), you get 6 grams of protein, calcium and probiotics. You also don’t get any gluten, corn syrup, saturated or trans fats, artificial sugar or added sodium. They’re pretty darn awesome. And they taste really good to boot! (Lasso? Boot? We’ll force this joke ’til the cows come home.)
Being nice and fruity and creamy—without being too sweet or Popsicle-y—these are like the grown-up version of a Creamsicle, except with berries. A little tangy and with the taste of real fruit, we enjoyed all of them but really, really liked the strawberry. Available at major grocers, we recommend that you giddy up and get these! (Last attempt at the lasso theme.)
Now tell us, what’s your favorite way to enjoy Greek yogurt? We like it plain with a little honey, but these bars are giving that a serious run for its money! —Jenn
