Amanda Rose Walsh—kick-ass trainer for “Warrior Fight Club” at UPLIFT Studios.

Fit Bottomed Girl Margo is based in NYC and has a lot of fun fitness options at her disposal. She recently tried out this fitness studio that is seriously perfection for busy moms. First, you get cardio and weights. Then you get a glass of wine. And to top it off, you get to socialize, which is oh-so important for moms! Read on for Margo’s take on this awesome class, and hit it up if you’re near the Big Apple!

UPLIFT Studios

UPLIFT Studios is the brain child  of three busy career women (Leanne Shear, Helena Wolin and Katie Currie) who were seeking an environment devoted to not only getting physically fit but also to bringing more social activity into their lives. UPLIFT is famous for its “Workout & Wine” classes that combine heavy cardio and weights topped off with a nice glass of wine—cheers!

At UPLIFT Studios, the space combines a traditional workout studio along with a coffee bar, wi-fi and a devoted time to socialize after the workout is over to foster relationships that go beyond the usual gym atmosphere. The whole point is to feel connected to fellow members and know that you are working out and making time for yourself among friends.

What to expect: One night you might find expert trainer Amanda Rose Walsh offering a boxing class and the next a “Cardio & Cocktails” class to get you ready for the weekend. The whole point is that everyone who takes classes at UPLIFT understands the full meaning of getting healthy inside and out.

What you need: Just bring your workout gear and come ready to sweat while making some new friends along the way.

Where to find it: At 24 West 23rd Street on the second floor.

Check out a few other fun classes Margo has hit up recently, too!
