By now, you’ve probably heard about how bad sitting is for your health. Study after study has shown that sitting on your duff for hours at a time can increase the risk of all kinds of not-so-fun things like weight gain, diabetes, heart attack and even a shortened life span. Um, boo on that. So today’s Fit Tip Friday is all about standing up!

We have an easy trick that will get you standing up more often, and on your way to feeling healthier and happier. So stand up for your health! Stand up for your wellbeing! Stand up for your energy! For goodness’ sake, just stand up!

    I had a back injury so got a doctor’s slip for a workstation that can accommodate both standing and sitting. I stand at work most of the time. People think it’s strange or uncomfortable and at first my legs and feet were not happy but now it is great! And best of all I have not had lingering problems with my back.
