4. A Good Attitude. Ya’ll know I had to go there, right? Right. It can be easy to get down on yourself and your body when you’re trying to get pregnant and nothing seems to be working. But I know from hard-earned experience that beating yourself up is not the way to go. Plus, research is starting to suggest that thinking positive thoughts can help to boost fertility. So while there’s no need to have to go 100 percent Pollyanna about it (um, if it’s taking awhile to get pregnant, there’s no doubt that it sucks), do start to pay attention to the thoughts you have about trying to get pregnant and try to see the glass as half full as you can. Give yourself plenty of self-love, acceptance and forgiveness.
