5 Mistakes Guys Make When It Comes to Their Health

2. You lift more than you should. We know that there can be a lot of pressure in the weight room to lift heavy. But there’s no reason to compete with the meatheads in the room at the expense of your body, your results and even your health.

Solution: Always, always, always listen to your body. You want your last few reps of any exercise to be tough, but you still need to be able to do the move with proper form. If you’re not sure what proper form is, ask for help from a friend or schedule a couple of sessions with a trainer for guidance. There is nothing weenie about asking for help or dropping down in weight to do things right. In fact, we think doing so is dang sexy!
