How FBGs Do Bachelorette Parties!

I know the 4th of July is tomorrow and many FBGs are planning how they’ll celebrate with fireworks, but my mind is in bride mode. I have a little more than two months before I get hitched. You’d think that would be the reason I have a bounce in my step, but it’s actually the bachelorette party that has me geeking the most. It helps that Jenn is my woman of honor. She’s planned the perfect frickin’ bachelorette party any FBG could ever ask for.

Some of my favorite women in the whole wide world will gather in Palm Springs come August, and we shall partake in the best kind of bachelorette party festivities known to fitties. Jenn’s rented out a cool arse home for us to relax at. There’s a pool, hot tub, waterfall and a hammock. We’ll hit up the local Trader Joe’s and grab yummy and nutritious foods to cook with, and we’ll spend the weekend relaxing and pampering ourselves. Even cooler, there’s a hiking trail close by we get to explore each morning. And there may even be bighorn sheep on that trail! I can’t tell a lie; I’m drooling just thinking about it.

This is what heaven looks like. Can’t wait to zen!

Sure, it’s not your typical bachelorette event. But I wanted to celebrate and feel good post celebration. I knew if I did the usual route I’d come back feeling exhausted. I love that Jenn’s given me the opportunity to celebrate with my girls in the way I dig. I love that hiking is involved, plus healthy meals and great girls. I can’t wait to report back and tell y’all how it went. I think we’re on to something. Who says a club and a sash with male genitalia is the only way to celebrate?! Just goes to show you can put an FBG spin on just about anything.

What about you? Did you switch up your own bachelorette party? Have cool plans or visions for how you’d FBG it up? Would love to hear your fun stories…well, the ones you can share. —Tish
