Snacks to Go: LOVE These Stackable Snack Containers (With a Giveaway!)

gostakWhen Jenn reviewed the GoStak stackable containers over on FBG, the mom in me went a little nuts. I immediately saw the possibilities in taking kids’ snacks to go. While I love snack cups that let kids get in and out of them easily (like these), they have the drawback of dropping Cheerios all over kingdom come when little hands get more than they bargained for. Not to mention that older kids can easily take the lid off altogether. And baggies are fine in a pinch, but snacks tend to get crushed and mushed when forgotten in a purse (on those rare days I’m super disorganized, you know.). But the GoStak BlenderBottle is kind of genius.

While it works great for supplements and protein powder, it also makes a great container for snacks to go. With four different-sized stackable containers, you can keep a variety of snacks separated. They’re super sturdy, so you don’t have to worry about crushing the foods, and one “stack” takes up about as much space as a water bottle. Throw in cereal, pretzels, granola, fruits, veggies, cheese cubes—the possibilities really are endless. Some of the smaller sizes don’t work great for kids, but they do work great for moms trying to control portions of trail mix or nuts while they’re on the go.

They’re not perfect for toddlers—unlike the lidded snack cups I mentioned before, if you take the lid off this and drop it, the snack is gone—but for an older preschooler who isn’t as spill-prone or a supervised toddler, these are great. They come in all kinds of fun colors, too, and at just $12, snacking has never looked so cool.

Want to try these yourself? In honor of our FBM Birthday this week, we’re giving one away! Comment below telling us what goodies you’d stash in one of these, and you’ll be entered to win! Winners will be notified by email and in the comments. U.S. residents only, please.
