6. Coenzyme Q10. According to Fairhaven Health, the supplement Coenzyme Q10 (CoQ10) is present in each cell of the human body, and plays a vital role in energy production and possibly fertility. CoQ10 is naturally found in meat, fish, and certain vegetables and fruit, but CoQ10 levels tend to diminish with age, resulting in reduced cellular energy, which comes with fertility implications. One study showed that women taking up to 600 milligrams of CoQ10 daily saw improved egg quality and fertilization rates, and another study found that men supplementing with 300 milligrams of CoQ10 daily saw an increase in sperm motility, count and morphology.
